Resort Municipaility of Whistler The Whistler Animal Shelter is operated by Whistler Animals Galore, a non-profit society for lost and unwanted pets, on behalf of the Resort Municipality of Whistler. The RMOW provides the building and maintenance services and in exchange WAG houses impounded dogs and collects fees on behalf of the RMOW. The RMOW also sponsors WAG operations with a fee for service yearly fund which assists with the staffing of the shelter. |

Pemberton Animal Well-Being Society (PAWS) WAG and PAWS have an informal partnership based upon providing mutual support and sharing resources to help animals from Pemberton and outlying areas. |
