Your Dog and the Whistler Community

All dogs that live in Whistler must possess and wear a valid dog license. Licenses are issued annually and are available for sale at WAG.

Fees:

Unaltered Female or Male $50
Altered Female or Male $15
Puppy (under 5 months) $15
Replacement Tag $5

If your dog is lost, a license helps us to contact you.

If you are visiting Whistler with your dog, please ensure that your dog is wearing a valid license from the community in which you permanently reside.

Please note that Whistler has a leash law. Except as noted below, at all times that your dog is within the municipality it must be on leash. This is both for your dog's protection, and to protect wildlife, other people and other pets. A dog off leash is liable to seizure and impoundment (fines will apply).
